Help Advance Accessibility in Creative Tools — and Get Paid
Northeastern University is conducting a paid research study to explore how blind and low vision people engage in creative thinking and use tools to support their creative process.
Researchers aim to better understand how participants generate, organize, and share creative ideas — from concept to finished project.
This study is for individuals who are blind or have low vision and who create original work in any medium, including:
- Tactile arts and crafts
- Photography or design prototypes
- Creative writing (fiction, not academic papers)
- Music compositions or sound projects
- Drawings, images, or other visual pieces
About the Study
Participants will:
- Discuss how they develop and refine creative ideas
- Demonstrate their creative process using one or more past projects
- Take part in a 90-minute interview session
💵 Compensation: Participants will receive a $45 Amazon gift card for their time.
