YNAB is formally known as You Need A Budget, they have moved away from the “b word,” as they are so much more than that. Otherwise the description is good, about it being a virtual envelope system.
I find the deeper parts to YNAB to be great for mental health as their focus on your priorities, and asking questions about where you need and want to spend really set people on a much more mentally healthy flow.
FYI, I am the first and as far as I know, only YNAB Certified Spendfullness coach that is blind. I am more than happy to work with anyone that wants to use YNAB to get a better handle on their finances.
