Google Flights Launches AI-Powered Tool to Find the Best Travel Deals
If you’re a flexible traveler whose main goal is saving money, Google Flights just introduced a tool that could make your next trip much easier and cheaper.
Alphabet, Google’s parent company, has launched “Flight Deals”, an AI-powered search tool designed to help travelers find the best airfare without spending hours testing different dates and destinations.
Instead of manually adjusting filters and options, you can simply describe when, where, and how you want to travel—just like talking to a friend. The AI will then search for matching destinations and the lowest fares based on your preferences.
The feature will begin rolling out this week in the U.S., Canada, and India.
More Updates to Google Flights
Google is also adding a new filter that lets travelers exclude basic economy fares for U.S. and Canadian trips. While these fares are often cheaper, they typically come with major restrictions like no carry-on bags, no seat selection, and limited or no changes and cancellations.
With these upgrades, Google Flights is aiming to simplify the search process for travelers and help them get the most value for their money—whether they’re looking for a spontaneous getaway or a planned vacation.
