Investing 201 Advanced Course Introduction

Welcome to the Investing 201 Course, the next step in your journey toward financial empowerment. Designed for learners who have completed our “Intro to Investing Course” this course will challenge you to think like a strategist, act like a portfolio manager, and reflect like an investor with purpose.

We’ll move beyond the basics to tackle real-world investing decisions—ranging from behavioral biases and risk profiling to portfolio construction and tax strategies. Through interactive lessons, market simulations, and practical tools, you’ll develop a well-rounded approach to managing wealth in dynamic conditions.

Whether you’re optimizing your retirement path, exploring alternative assets, or advocating for accessible investment strategies, this course aims to make every concept actionable and inclusive.

This course is a little different from other courses that PennyForward has offered. We are doing something that we have never done before: integrating an entire simulation within the lessons. The lesson structure and format will be similar, but you will be tasked with a course-wide investing simulation. There will be new things to learn and do in the simulation that will be explained in each lesson. Each lesson is uniquely connected to the investing simulation. So you will be able to learn and play at the same time. But don’t worry, we will have a whole lesson dedicated to guiding you through just the simulation part before we get into the lessons.
