Upcoming Webinar: ABLE Age Adjustment Act
The ABLE National Resource Center (ABLE NRC) is hosting a live webinar titled “Millions More Can Start Their ABLE Journey in 2026” on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, from 2–3 PM ET.
This free, accessible event will explain the ABLE Age Adjustment Act, a landmark change that will expand eligibility for ABLE accounts starting January 2026.
Who Will Benefit
Currently, only individuals whose disability began before age 26 can open an ABLE account. Beginning in 2026, that age limit will rise to 46, making millions of new individuals eligible to start saving, including Veterans and those with disabilities that began later in life.
The webinar will explore how this expansion opens the door to greater financial security and independence for people with disabilities.
What You’ll Learn
Facilitated by Jody Ellis, Director of ABLE NRC, the session will feature a panel discussion with current and future ABLE account holders:
- Teresa Price – Parent of an ABLE account owner
- Ty Smith – ABLE account owner
- Mark Raymond Jr. – National Outreach Lead, ABLE Today
Attendees will hear how ABLE accounts can support both short-term savings and long-term goals, and how newly eligible participants can prepare to open their own accounts in 2026.
Accessibility and Registration
ASL interpretation and captioning will be provided.
