Just wanted to give a quick clarification to some information given during this recording.
In YNAB you do not have to link your accounts. However if you do want to track your expenses, you will need to manually enter items if you do not have it linked. You will want to make sure you date items correctly if you are doing this so that when you do go back to get those details they will be in the right place.
YNAB does have a subscription fee to use.
Every Dollar you can also do this, where you can go back and view previous years information, and is free. I don’t currently use Every Dollar, but imagine it is about like it was from back when I did use it. The unlinked is free, to link is a subscription. That is the only free one I currently know of.
Pretty much any tracking platform will allow you to view your history, but you have to make sure you are giving it all the information for it to give you the best results.
