A Message from Penny Forward Founder and CEO, Chris Peterson

Dear Penny Forward Community,

I hope this message finds you well and thriving on your financial journey. As we continue to grow and evolve, I’m excited to share some updates regarding one of our oldest initiatives – the members-only group chats.

Since their inception in March 2022, our members-only group chats have been a space for all of us to come together and collaboratively sharpen our money management skills. It’s been an incredible journey, and I’m thrilled to announce a subtle but meaningful change: we’re rebranding these sessions as “Wednesday Workshops.”

This name change is designed to better encapsulate the essence of what these sessions represent – a dedicated time for us to come together, learn, and actively engage in honing our money management skills. The new name, Wednesday Workshops, reflects our commitment to providing a focused platform for our members to practice and refine their financial knowledge.

However, rest assured, the core intent remains unaltered. Wednesday Workshops will continue to be a dynamic space where members can share insights, ask questions, and collaborate on refining their financial acumen. It’s a space built by the community, for the community.

To further enhance your experience, I’m thrilled to be kicking off our new Content Action Team on Wednesday, January 3^rd, 2024. This dedicated team of volunteers will be working diligently to curate and bring you the money management topics you’re most interested in. Whether it’s investment strategies, budgeting techniques, or discussions on financial goals, our team is committed to delivering content that resonates with you. If you already receive our weekly newsletter, you’ll soon be receiving an invitation in your inbox. All are welcome, though, so if you want to be involved, please apply to join the content action team today.

We understand the importance of continuous improvement , and that’s why we’ve decided to make gradual adjustments based on your feedback. With the help of our community, we aim to do more of what works and less of what doesn’t. Your opinions matter, and we’re eager to involve you in this ongoing conversation about making Wednesday Workshops an even more valuable resource for everyone.

As we embark on this new chapter, I want to express my gratitude to each and every one of you who has contributed to the success of our community. Your engagement, enthusiasm, and dedication to financial growth inspire us daily.
