Let’s hone in on your problem-solving, decision-making, and advocacy skills in the workplace, with a special emphasis on supporting individuals using assistive technology. At Penny Forward we recognize the vital role these skills play in fostering inclusivity and driving organizational success, and how success in the workplace can lead to financially bright futures.

What to Expect

1. Introduction: (10 minutes)

  • Welcome participants and emphasize the importance of problem-solving, decision-making, and advocacy skills in the workplace, particularly for individuals using assistive technology.
  • Ice breaker: Describe a time you faced a challenge in the workplace and how you move beyond it.
  • Encourage active participation and an open exchange of ideas throughout the workshop.

2. Understanding Workplace Challenges: (5 minutes)

  • Define common workplace challenges that require problem-solving and decision-making skills, emphasizing those faced by individuals using assistive technology.
  • Discuss the impact of effective problem-solving, decision-making, and advocacy on personal and organizational success, particularly in fostering inclusivity and accessibility.
  • Share examples of successful problem-solving and decision-making scenarios in diverse workplace environments.

3. Problem-Solving Strategies: (10 minutes)

4. Decision-Making Techniques: (10 minutes)
