- Welcome & Icebreaker (10 minutes) We’ll kick off with a quick icebreaker where you can share a little about your career aspirations and meet others who are on similar paths. It’s a perfect way to warm up and make connections right from the start!
- Short Lecture: Understanding Employment Networks (15 minutes) Dive into the essentials of Employment Networks under the Ticket to Work program. Our expert will cover how these networks operate to assist SSI and SSDI recipients, outlining the benefits and how you can leverage these services to aid your employment journey.
- Q&A Session (10 minutes) This segment allows you to ask specific questions regarding employment networks and their role in your career development. It’s a great opportunity to clarify your doubts and gain direct insights from professionals.
- Group Discussion (10 minutes) Engage in a group discussion on your experiences with employment services or your expectations from such networks. This discussion aims to foster sharing of knowledge and experiences among participants, enhancing your understanding and providing peer support.
- Penny Forward News (5 minutes) Get the latest updates on what’s happening at Penny Forward! Learn about new resources, upcoming events, and other initiatives designed to support your career advancement.
- Conclusion and Announcement of Next Topic (10 minutes) We’ll summarize the key points discussed today and introduce the topic of our next workshop, which will focus on practical skills for job seekers in the SSI and SSDI community.
