Ways to Track Your Spending

Making a budget is a great way to find opportunities to cut spending and save more in the new year, but what if you don’t know how much you should be spending? Before you begin budgeting, we recommend that you track your spending so you understand where your money is going. This week we’ll talk about some methods you can use to track your spending including maintaining a spending journal, using apps, and downloading transactions from your bank’s web site. We will also leave time for you to share anything you would like to.
