Live From The American Council of the Blind (ACB) and National Federation of the Blind (NFB) National Conventions

Please join us for tonight’s members-only group chat, where we’ll be wrapping up our first American Council of the Blind (ACB) and National Federation of the Blind (NFB) national conventions. With over a combined six thousand participants, these conventions make up the largest gatherings of blind consumers in the United States. They’re not only forums for important advocacy initiatives; they’re also a key part of any organization’s marketing strategy if they want to reach the blind community.

We’ll be talking about some of the most important advocacy initiatives this year and what it’s like to exhibit at these conventions for the first time. Whether you’re a convention regular, or have never attended a convention before, this promises to be an enthusiastic look into what you can expect when you attend a national convention no matter the reason.
