Protect Yourself from Identity Theft
We are excited to announce our upcoming members-only group chat, focused on how blind people can protect themselves from identity theft. Join us this week as we discuss prevention measures, early detection, and response strategies.
During the chat, we will cover important topics such as the vulnerability of blind people to identity theft, the importance of taking steps to protect oneself, and specific prevention tips for blind people. We will also discuss early detection measures such as monitoring financial accounts regularly and setting up fraud alerts with credit bureaus. Additionally, we will cover response strategies such as reporting theft to the authorities, freezing credit reports, and filing a fraud report with credit bureaus.
Our chat will be led by Penny Forward President and CEO Chris Peterson and will include a Q&A session for members to ask questions and share their own experiences. We invite all members to participate and encourage you to take steps to protect yourselves from identity theft.
Join us for this important and informative chat. We look forward to seeing you there!
